Summer Term 2019

What a busy last few weeks.

We were lucky with the weather for Sports day and everyone had a lovely time and most families managed to stay for the family picnic which was lovely.

We have as usual taken part in many sporting competitions. This year all KS2 children were invited to a competition and virtually every child in KS2 plus quite a few in KS1 took part in at least one competition.  In just the last few weeks our Swimming team went through to the finals at Pingles, our girls cricket team went to Edgbaston, many children represented us at the Tamworth Athletics event and lots of children took part in the Brownlee Triathlon event.

Years 5 and 6 held their successful Robin Hood leavers play. We had a Summer Fayre which was very popular. Then there were the discos and Y6 leavers party. Everyone moved to their new classes on the last Wednesday and we were joined by quite a few new pupils who will officially start in September. This move helps to make the transition less stressful and irons out all the worries before the Summer holiday.
