The Warwickshire local welfare scheme helps our most vulnerable residents at times of unavoidable crisis when they have no other means of help. The scheme provides basic and essential help for food and energy. This is given either in emergency food parcels or with credit for energy.

Might you need help?  Never be afraid to ask for help, prevent a problem from getting worse.

 

 

Finance, debt?  Christmas is often a time of year where these issues arise. The advice is always to tackle them as soon as possible, the longer you leave them the worse they get. https://www.nationaldebtline.org/

North Warwickshire Citizens Advice runs an outreach service on the third Tuesday of every month for help with most issues, including, benefits, debt, money, employment, housing, legal. Please contact us on 01827 712852 for an appointment. This is based on Coleshill Town Hall

This family support duty line is for parents with any parenting issues (0-19 years 25 with additional needs. )You are able to speak with a family support worker Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm (excluding bank holidays)  The number is 01926 412412

Improving Access to Psychological Therapy (IAPT) 02476 67 1090. IAPT services are for people with mild, moderate and moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety or depression living in Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire.Referral criteria: Registered with GP in Coventry/Warwickshire or Solihull.

 

 

Parents can confidentially text Warwickshire School Health and Wellbeing Service on a dedicated parent/carer text  number with any concerns about their child’s health and well being. The text number is 07520 619376 .

 

Early Help: Don’t forget if you come into school during term time we can organise an early help assessment which brings together professionals to support families with all types of issues including all those listed above. Speak to Mrs Hanson or your class teacher. It is a confidential support network for our families.

 

 

Warwickshire Safe Havens– mental health support

Are you feeling distressed, frightened, overwhelmed, or that things are too much for you?
Don’t know where to turn to get mental health support?
Are your usual sources of support closed?

The Warwickshire Safe Havens offer out-of-hours mental health support to anyone aged 16+ in the Warwickshire area. Newtown Centre, Newtown Rd, Nuneaton CV11 4HG
Open 6pm-11pm, Thursday to Sunday.
