Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.

We have also provided a Register of Governor Interests and an Annual Statement of Issues for your information.

Our governing body does not operate a committee structure. We meet as a full board twice a term. All governors have specific roles and responsibilities and undertake school visits linked to these roles. In addition if there is a need, a task group of a smaller number of governors is set up.

KINGSBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL GOVERNING BODY

The Governing Body of Kingsbury Primary School was reconstituted in September 2015. Governors are local people who bring their interests and experience to support the school. They are volunteers and are always happy to listen and talk about any matter related to the school and the children.

The Governing Body works closely with the Headteacher and staff of the school. It meets twice termly to discuss and make decisions on a variety of matters such as the curriculum, buildings and finance. It is also responsible for the appointment of new staff. Minutes of all Governors’ meetings are available to parents on request.
